Pastor Angela R. Williams is a retired public-school educator whose career calling as a teacher, counselor, and school principal/administrator allowed God to equip her for her calling in pastoral ministry.
She often sees how the gifts and talents she learned and used as an educator to encourage young people to aspire to their highest potential are now used as a pastor to encourage all of God’s people to live in the love, hope, and grace found in Christ Jesus.
In appointed ministry, Pastor Angela has been blessed to guide the faith and spiritual development of children, youth, and their families. Her love for worshipping God is seen through her preaching, administering the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism, and singing praises to God. Beyond the local church, Pastor Angela has served on the North Texas Conference Leadership and Development Committee. She was blessed to offer the opening prayer for the 2019 Annual Conference Clergy Plenary Session.
Pastor Angela received her Master of Divinity Degree with honors from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Her additional education includes a Master of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, Certification in School Administration from University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Fashion Merchandising from Paul Quinn College.
Pastor Angela feels called by God to Ordained ministry as an Elder in full connection in The United Methodist Church.
She is married to Mr. Alvin R. Williams. They are the proud parents of two lovely young ladies, Ambreal Ricole Williams and Allika Roquel Williams of Los Angeles, California.
