Building Exterior

The 35 original magnificent stained-glass windows at St. Paul combine traditional leaded glass with exquisite painted glass.  They were donated by some of Dallas’ first affluent African Americans and were dedicated to prominent past bishops, pastors, and church officials.

Parishioners individual donated bricks to help build the church building.  As you move throughout the building, you will see bricks of different sizes and colors.  This multi-colored brick tapestry serves as a permanent reminder of the history and heritage of our church.

3 different kinds of stamped tin ceiling tiles were used throughout the building.

St. Paul was designated as an historic landmark by City of Dallas in 1982.
