Joint Accommodation Book Study with FirstChurch

Join Reverends Holly Bandel and Angela Williams in a three week book study of The Accommodation: The Politics of Race in an American City by Jim Schutze, and Civil Rights leader, Rev. Peter Johnson. This powerful classic of Dallas history examines the violent and suppressed history of race and racism in the city, from slavery through the Civil Rights Movement, and the city’s desegregation efforts in the 1950s and ‘60s.
The study will be on Tuesdays, starting Jan 24 (3 weeks) from 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm, at FirstChurch in Crossroads East. Please click here to register.
